Her exceptional natural approach during our coaching sessions encouraged me to open more deeply to my own faith in God as Source, rather than money.

Developing discipline around dealing with my finances has given me a sense of knowing the money will be there. I used to feel like everything was on my shoulders. Now I feel very supported by my staff and my store is juicing me rather than me juicing my store. I’m taking better care of myself–asking for what I want and staying with it. As a result I don’t complain as much (my friends have noticed).

I enjoyed the experience of building my business within a solid growth environment. The integrity, support, and follow-through Linda provides is very exciting for my heart and mind. I always feel heard and cared for, whether being coached by Linda or in my Prosperity Circle, and come away with the experience of having learned something–quite like an Ah-Ha moment.

Opening to the bigger picture has helped me focus on growth and expansion instead of just worrying. Instead of focusing on the problem, I embrace what is and put my energy into finding a solution. As I take better care of myself and am intentional about what I want, I feel more balance, flow, and synchronicity in my life.”

When I started working with Linda I was procrastinating on even completing my application for ministerial school!

From the beginning Linda created a safe place to talk about the “elephant in the room”–money. Linda’s belief in the connection between self-esteem and how you handle money was a new concept to me.

Through my work with Linda I uncovered generational and cultural beliefs about money and career. I came from a generation where I was taught that I was powerless, unable to make decisions concerning money, and that my role was to be a good help-mate. My husband was to be the successful one in his career and in charge of our finances.

I now know my vision is as important as my husband’s and that I am perfectly capable and in control of my own destiny and finances. I am now on staff as Director of Education at Unity In Marin, my spiritual community.

Most importantly, I am thrilled to say that on April 23, 2011,
I will be ordained as a Unity minister!”

One month later I was laid-off and 6 weeks later my husband was laid off as well, both due to the economic downturn.

We had just bought a beautiful house we could barely afford and I was juggling debt from one credit card offer to another to avoid making interest payments. Even though I had budgets and was tracking my finances, every time my husband and I looked at our financial picture it felt like we were on shifting sands–which inevitably led to stress and conflict.

After getting laid off I decided to pursue a business idea that I was ready to shop. I have an “I can do anything” attitude so I made a commitment to my husband and to my Prosperity Circle members that I would earn $10,000 by our next meeting which was in just two weeks. I got on the phone, found a client, and made a $15,000 deal before our next meeting!

By the end of that same year my husband had also found a new job that was better than the last one. Working with Linda’s Money MOJO Cash Flow Manifestation System over the past couple years has given me the structure, accountability, and continual feedback I need to take practical actions to create financial stability and security. When my husband and I meet about money now it’s a snap. We’re on the same page, and we know exactly where we stand.

It’s early 2011 and for the first time in my life we are “in the black” in a way I have never experienced before. I have made many savvy business decisions with the help of Linda and our Prosperity Circles members that have enabled me to grow my business and protect my interests. I have started and failed at 4 other businesses over the years. This is my first successful business! Although I have been budgeting since 1988, for the first time we are saving for our kids college education and funding our retirement, and still have money left over. Someone pinch me please.

Working with Linda has been key to living into my heart’s desires personally, financially, and professionally. Will there be tough times ahead? I am sure there will– one thing I’m sure of is that I am better prepared to handle a financial crisis.

I’ve been practicing a Japanese style of karate since I was 10 years old. I had a dream of opening my own martial arts school. After working for many years in the corporate world, it seemed like an impossible dream to create a business doing what I love. With Linda’s guidance and encouragement, I clarified what it would take to make it work financially.
I am now in my 4th year of having my own dojo (the Japanese word for school). Another revelation from my work with Linda was realizing that I could free up 80 hours per month by dropping one stream of income.

Prosperity Preparedness is a phrase that came to me a number of years ago after my neighborhood experienced a flood. I was walking my dog a few weeks after the flood. My thoughts were moving back and forth between what I had learned in a recent Disaster Preparedness class and what I was learning in a class I was taking on prosperity consciousness. As I was mulling over the ideas about disaster preparedness and prosperity, the words Prosperity Preparedness flashed like an intuitive banner in my mind’s eye. Prosperity Preparedness I thought…what a great idea. Everyone KNOWS it’s important to prepare for disaster. But, taking action to consciously prepare for prosperity, now that’s a great idea!

As I continued my walk I had one of those “duh” moments when it occurred on me that Prosperity Preparedness describes the heart of what I’ve been teaching for many years! Prosperity Preparedness strategies are based on sound financial and business principles and practices, as well as Universal Spiritual Principles that govern the creative process. Incorporating financial and business best practices fosters sustainability. Having something new happen in your life is a creative process so understanding how things come into being, on a level of principle, will help you intentionally make the difference you are here to make and prosper personally and financially. Just as there are ways to prepare for disaster, there are strategies that will help you proactively pave the road to greater prosperity.

A common mistake that is likely to be zapping your prosperity is focusing on making more money without know what the money is for. If you don’t know what the money is for, how do you know when you have enough? If money is what you truly want, then that strategy may work for you. If what you really want is happiness than you’re likely to find yourself chasing that elusive carrot and feeling like there is never enough. Instead of focusing first on making more money, I encourage you to re-examine how you define prosperity. If you’ve thought of prosperity as being synonymous with financial success you’re likely to be in the majority. However, after reading what follows I hope you are inspired to shift how you define prosperity!

One day, after meditating, I felt drawn to look up prosperity on my newly discovered iphone dictionary. I’d looked up prosperity many times in the past. At first glance, the definition of prosperity on my iphone was similar to what I’d seen before, to thrive or flourish, especially in financial terms. The dictionary on my iphone, from the Random House Unabridged Dictionary, took the definition one step further leading me to a profound discovery. There was another link for “to prosper” and when I clicked on it I learned that “to prosper” was derived from the Latin root word, prosperare, which means “to make happy.” After many years of studying prosperity consciousness I had never heard that definition of prosperity!

Looking back at history, the original purpose of money was to be a medium to simplify the exchange of goods and services. Money was intended to be a means to an end, not the end in and of itself! I wonder when the meaning for “prosper” shifted from “to make happy” to “to make money.” Somewhere along the way the cart got before the horse! To view money as a symbol of prosperity is off the mark. I hope you will join me in getting money back “on purpose” in your life by viewing it as a means of exchange for what brings you happiness.

The question–what makes you happy–for many is one of those big life questions that seems unanswerable. That is exactly what my Prosperity Preparedness Program is about! As you progress through this program you will become more and more and more aware of what makes you happy and you will be able to answer the question–how much money is enough!

The Prosperity Preparedness Program centers around four key strategies:

What to FOCUS on that promotes happiness.

Simple habits and patterns that build your FAITH and self esteem–your MOJO.

Strategies and structures that support doing the FOOTWORK, i.e., ”Getting the Right Things Done.”

Money Mojo Manifestation tools and practices that help you improve your FINANCES.

Happy Holidays To One & All,

Last week when I was walking by the Bay with Rhylie, our Bernese Mountain dog, I was delighted to spot an otter swimming in the same direction we were walking. I tracked with it for quite some time before it disappeared into the depths of the Bay. Seeing the otter that morning reminded me of an “otterly” delightful manifestation from a few years back. I wanted to share it as a reminder of the power of letting yourself want what you want! I hope this story amazes and delights you as much as it did me.

A few years back when I was kayaking with a friend in Monterey Bay. Over an hour had passed when I thought…where are the otters? I WANT to see an otter! No sooner had I thought it, I spotted an otter swimming toward another kayak about 100 feet from us. We watched with amazement as the otter proceeded to jump INTO the other kayak and make itself at home.

Not long after that the otter looked our way…like oh good…there are some other people who look fun to visit! With that it jumped back into the water and started swimming in our direction. With all the signs saying “Don’t approach the animals” we started rowing backwards as fast as we could. Of course, the otter swam much faster towards us than we could row backwards. He swam right up to our kayak and, without hesitation, jumped onboard and proceeded to lounge about in the front of the kayak.

By the way, those are my RED toes you see in the photo. What was going through my mind in that moment was that otters have VERY sharp teeth! Yikes!!!

The otter continued to just hang with us. After about 20-30 minutes we realized we needed to be heading back and wondered how to get him OUT of our kayak without frightening him. We gently slapped our paddles on the water splashing our friend. I have to say he looked quite offended, but got the message. He jumped back into the water, and swam away, seemingly to pay a visit to some folks in yet another kayak.

Sometimes it can seem like what we want can take so L-O-N-G to manifest. I love this experience.because it’s a reminder that sometimes our wishes can happen in the blink of an eye. As 2011 comes to a close, I hope your fondest heart’s desires manifest in the blink of an eye during this holiday season and in the year to come! It all starts with letting yourself want what you want.

Wishing you an “otterly” delightful holiday season & 2012!

Linda

Publishing my 1st blog post–this one–reminds me of how it felt the first time I made my 1st dive off of the high diving board. I was 10 years old and my family was driving cross country from South Dakota to California. Two boys I met at the motel swimming pool in Provo, Utah coached me on making that 1st dive.

As many times as I approached the end of the diving board that first time, there was no way around making that first dive. I’m not sure which was more scary, the possibility of a belly flop or letting the opportunity to make my 1st dive pass me by. Of course, jumping in feet first would’ve been a bit less scary, but not as satisfying as mustering up the courage to FINALLY jump head first into the water.

I’ve thought about starting a blog for longer than I care to admit. I’m taking a fantastic course from Sandra DeFreitas, WordPress and tech coach extraordinaire fromwww.wpblogsites.com. She challenged us to post our 1st couple blog posts. So, I’m stepping up to the challenge!

My work is my calling. I’ve actually done a lot of writing about my work in the past few years. However, I haven’t let very many people read what I’ve written I’ve joked about marketing and hiding over the years. Publishing this first blog post is a symbol of me taking the official plunge. One of my favorite quotes is by Anaïs Nin: “And the day came when the risk to remain tight in a bud was more painful than the risk it took to blossom.”

If you’re reading this and can relate to marketing and hiding, I’d love to hear from you. Here I go. Yahoo!
